Spring 2017: History, culture and politics of Belgium

Brussels Warandepark

Is Belgium really a ‘new’ country? Where does it come from? Why do we have a language barrier? Why is Belgium a federal state and how is it organized? These questions and many more will be answered during our evening courses. You will get a concise overview of the history of Belgium, from Roman times until our own.

This course is offered for the last time this Spring 2017! Read more about it here.

The aim of this course is to provide each participant with a clear view on Belgium’s history and culture, as well as to provide a chance to interact with specialists and fellow course participants. For this reason places are deliberately kept limited.

If you’ve always wondered why Belgium has such a complicated state structure, then this course is exactly what you need!
