This is a list of Frequently Asked Questions:
In what languages do you teach?
The History of Belgium Integration course is taught in English. The online course is also offered in English. If you would like to take this program in Dutch or French, please contact me.
If you register for a coaching program you can indicate your language of choice: Dutch, French or English.
What is e-learning or online learning?
E-learning means you don’t take this course in a live environment, but in a virtual one. Your course is offered as an online training, consisting of different modules and lessons which you can access through the internet.
These online lessons consist of presentations, video’s and downloadable course content.
What are the benefits of online learning?
You don’t have to be physically present during lessons. You can access your course anytime, anywhere, and you can learn at your own pace.
What is blended learning?
Blended learning is a combination of online learning and more traditional classroom methods. This means that you have access to the online course History of Belgium, while at the same time taking live (IRL) lessons.
I prefer this way of learning (or in my case teaching). You have all the benefits of the online course, while at the same time the live lessons offer the possibility to interact with your fellow participants, take part in discussions, ask your questions and experience in general a more profound learning and understanding.
Are all your courses online trainings?
No, not all of them. Or at least, not yet. The History of Belgium Integration Course is the first course to be offered as a blended learning experience.
When do courses start?
The online course starts whenever you want it to start! When you register for the online course only, we’ll send you all the details after receiving payment of your registration fee.
If you choose blended learning, so if you want that classroom experience and the interaction with me and the other participants, we'll give you the dates for the live (IRL) sessions as soon as possible after you've registered. Whenever possible, I'll check with you first to see if you're available.
How long do courses take?
The online course takes a minimum of 8 weeks. If you choose to take a program with live sessions, it takes between 12 and 16 weeks.
Where do courses take place?
The online course can be accessed anywhere, any place.
If you choose blended learning, the live (IRL) sessions will take place at a central location, depending on the place where participants live or work. This location varies with the participants, in order to be as flexible as possible.
How much is the registration fee?
All our programs are made to measure. This means there is no fixed registration fee. Within every program there are three varieties of possible learning formats between which you can choose: basic, blended learning or VIP.
That is why the registration fees listed on the program pages refer to the most basic program, often the online course without any live contact with me or support from me or a community. These registration fees are therefore listed as ‘Starting from…’ to indicate that they represent the minimum amount that you can invest in that program.
If you want to know more about the registration fees for other learning formats (for instance for the VIP program), you can contact me directly. In that case we'll discuss your needs and the fees during a Skype or telephone call.
Are you the only lecturer/coach?
No, I am not. Part of the History of Belgium Integration Course is given by Michael-W. Serruys. Occasionally I also invite other lecturers to make sure you always get expert information.
What if I change my mind? Do I get my money back?
We have a 14-day money back guarantee, no questions asked, if you decide not to take the course. This 14 day period starts the moment we receive your registration fee.
In that case you will no longer have access to the online course, nor do you have any right to the course material.
After this 14 day period a refund is no longer possible.
Do you offer VIP courses or private coaching programs?
Yes, I do! Ask me about that!
How long do I have access to the online course History of Belgium?
Lifelong or as long as this course exists.
Where can I find more details about the course content?
You can check the page of the programs, or you can ask me.
Do you give in-company trainings?
Yes, I do. Please contact me for more details.
