Impressions of our junior academy

Our three day winter workshop “Can people fly?”, in collaboration with BioArt, was a great success, and we have the pictures to prove it!

How do things fall?

Over the course of three days, children were introduced to Leonardo Da Vinci’s genius, Isaac Newton’s discovery of gravity and the invention of coal gas by Jan-Pieter Minckelers. They discussed the concept of time, and with the help of both their personal time lines and one huge timeline covering 600 years of history they were encouraged to reflect upon the time and effort it took mankind to invent a working flying machine.
